I’m Ashley, the founder and photographer of What About the Ash.
My goal is to capture candid and authentic photos in an unobtrusive way to help you to remember your event as it really happened. No overly staged moments, awkward poses, or over-the-top props required.

I am based in the UK but more than willing to travel for to bring your vision to life. There isn’t a day that goes by that I do not have my camera and tripod by my side. I am fortunate enough to have turned my job into a vocation I adore, so I am genuine when I say I can't wait to work with you!

I started this business at 19 while studying music at the University of Southampton. I used my skills to ensure my fellow musicians received a new perspective; seeing themselves for the first time inside the music as well as playing it. I consider this a privilege I will never get tired of experiencing.
